SEA LOCKER = SELF SERVICE SURFING

SEA LOCKER®

The consumption of sports equipment will undergo a transformation in the coming years, not least because a different offering will be presented by the industry and distribution players.

Between the cost of purchasing the product and the exorbitant transportation fees charged by airlines for sports equipment, the concept is certainly appealing.

Switzerland’s Equip (Nidecker group) already launched a system of autonomous “sports stations” in 2022, betting on a multi-sport approach.

The biggest challenge for such initiatives will be to align with structures that can both generate traffic and also ensure maintenance of the systems in question.

Partnering with hotel chains or “sports centers” like Ion Club, for example, might be a winning strategy for the future.
